Screenings of four award-winning short films made by Playhouse West-Philadelphia Director, Tony Savant.

SUNDAY, APRIL 10, 2022

Each film screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director and any available cast members.  TICKETS are FREE.  You may get an ALL SCREENINGS PASS, or a single TICKET for individual screenings.

12 p.m. - BUDDY

All nine year old Buddy wants is a real best friend, but once he finds one he struggles with how much he's wiling to sacrifice for friendship.

34m, drama/family.  Appropriate for all audiences.  Bring your kids to this one!  They will love it, and so will parents.

1:30 p.m. - THE BYRDS & THE BEES

Every parent has to have "the talk" with their children some day. But as George Byrd and his family dramatize, anytime a parent thinks even the most common child-rearing exercise will be easy - watch out!

14m, comedy.  May not be appropriate for younger kids who haven't yet learned about the "birds and the bees".

2:30 - BILLY AND THE HURRICANE

As a hurricane hits, a small town emergency room nurse learns the value of life.

32m, drama.  Appropriate for all audiences.

3:30 p.m. - RED

Two young musicians play music together and discover love while trying to escape their dysfunctional lives in the rural south.

40m, drama/romance.  Stars Evangeline Young, Luke Eddy, Jim Parrack.  Appropriate for all audiences.
